Rajendra Jewellers runs this rate board and app, and its Monthly Jewellery Scheme. Looking at rates needs no account and collects nothing about you. This page says what Rajendra Jewellers collects when you sign in, why, how long it is kept, and whom to write to about it.
Who is responsible
Rajendra Jewellers, Main Road, Mohada, Taluka Kelapur, Dist Yavatmal, Maharashtra. 445323, decides what personal data is collected here and why, and is responsible for it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The app and website are software supplied to Rajendra Jewellers; the supplier runs them on Rajendra Jewellers' instructions and uses your data for nothing else.
Looking at rates
No account, no login and no name, number or email. Your favourites and the last rate seen stay on your device and go when you uninstall the app. If you turn on rate alerts, your device subscribes to an anonymous notification topic for this board: it identifies the board, not you.
Business sign-in
Business buyers sign in with their mobile number to see trade rates. A one-time code is sent on WhatsApp and, if WhatsApp cannot deliver it, by SMS.
- Your mobile number, to send the code and to recognise you at Rajendra Jewellers.
- Sign-in codes are stored only in a scrambled form that cannot be read back, expire after 10 minutes and are deleted within a day.
- A sign-in token keeps your phone signed in. It ends after 60 days without use, and after 180 days in any case.
- Account details you choose to give: your name, your business name and, if you wish, your GST number (GSTIN). Rajendra Jewellers' staff see them and approve or decline the account by hand. The GSTIN is checked only for being correctly formed.
Booking
Where Rajendra Jewellers offers booking and has allowed you to book, each order is kept: the metal, the weight, the rate, the time and its status, together with the gram limits Rajendra Jewellers set for you. Completed and cancelled orders are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically; an order still pending is kept until Rajendra Jewellers completes or cancels it. Order confirmations may reach you on WhatsApp from Rajendra Jewellers' own number. The app takes no payment.
Sankalp · Monthly Jewellery Scheme
The Monthly Jewellery Scheme belongs to Rajendra Jewellers: it is between you and Rajendra Jewellers alone. To run your plan, Rajendra Jewellers keeps:
- Your name and mobile number, to sign you in and to send your reminders and receipts on WhatsApp from Rajendra Jewellers' number.
- Your nominee: name, relation and mobile, if you give them.
- Each payment: the amount, the bank reference (UTR), the bank date and the payer's name as the bank shows it; for an instalment paid in cash at the shop, the amount, the date and the shop's cash receipt number. A screenshot you upload is deleted once the plan closes.
- Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes; a sign-in token ends after 30 days without use and after 90 days in any case.
Rajendra Jewellers' staff see these by the role the shop gives them. A change to your name or nominee is a request Rajendra Jewellers approves; a new mobile number is changed in the shop, after you show a photo ID. You can download your statement at any time.
Records kept for accountability
Account actions (a rate or margin change, an approval, an order, a payment, a deletion) are written to an activity record with the time and the network address they came from. Customer entries in that record carry an internal number, not your mobile number.
Who else handles your data
| Service | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| WhatsApp messaging | Your number and the message | Sign-in codes, reminders, receipts and order confirmations |
| An SMS and notification service | Your number; a phone's notification token | A sign-in code when WhatsApp fails; rate alerts |
| A network and security service | Network requests, including your network address | Delivering and protecting the site |
| The software supplier and its hosting | Everything above, stored on its servers | Running the app and website for Rajendra Jewellers |
Your data is not sold, not used for advertising and not used to build profiles.
Deleting your account
In the app or on the website, open My account and tap "Delete my account", then confirm with the code sent to you on WhatsApp. It is refused while something is still open: a business account with a pending order, or a plan that holds money or a refund not yet sent. You can also ask Rajendra Jewellers to delete it.
- For 7 days you can cancel the deletion, and so can Rajendra Jewellers.
- Then the account is closed for 30 days: you can still sign in, but only to download your statements or orders.
- Then it is sealed: no sign-in ever again. Your name, number, business details, nominee and the payer names on your payments are locked away in encrypted form that Rajendra Jewellers' staff cannot read, and your number is freed, so you can join again later as a new customer. The amounts, references and dates stay in Rajendra Jewellers' books.
- The sealed record is erased on 31 March of the 7th year after the financial year in which your last plan closed or your last order was completed, the periods the income-tax and GST laws require records to be kept. If you never paid an instalment or placed an order, it is erased at the end of the 30 days.
Your rights, and whom to write to
You can ask for a summary of the personal data held about you, have it corrected or erased, and nominate someone to act for you. Write to Rajendra Jewellers, +919697989839, Main Road, Mohada, Taluka Kelapur, Dist Yavatmal, Maharashtra. 445323. Rajendra Jewellers replies within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Business sign-in and booking are for businesses and are not meant for anyone under 18.
